Kyoto, Japan｜Rokudenya Pontocho

The price is good for this quality of food. The wagyu satay(?) is so tender and delicious. The stirred beef tongue is amazing too. I especially love the miso broth! Most restaurant I tried in Kyoto, Japan never disappoints!

Found this shop by accident, saw the stewed skewers at the window and was drawn in. Out of this world beef intestine and beef tendon skewers. Rice and noodle portion are big, can consider sharing.

At a small shop in Pontocho Alley, I did my homework and found out that they sell black sesame dandan noodles. I immediately put it on my must-eat list. I was not disappointed. The aroma of black sesame combined with the rich and fragrant sauce of dandan noodles, coating it Thick noodles go into your mouth together. It is full of flavor and enjoyable, but it is a little salty, so remember to drink more water. In addition, the fatter tomato dandan noodles are very rich but refreshing. There are really whole tomatoes in them. They are real ingredients. Both are delicious! Highly recommended😋
