If you are looking for a place where you can enjoy real Japanese food (not tratitional but something you cannot eat in your country),　I highly recommend this restaurant. They don't have an English menu but just show the other reviewers' photos! My favorite menu is the deep friend chicken. They are sooooo good! You should try their potato salad with gorgonzola cheese, "napolitan" spaghetti, and dry curry too. Oh, don't forget to order tacos as well. They are like quesadilla with fresh salsa. If you hate fish, their deep fried Hamo fish is not gross, a white fish meat only so don't get scared and just try! lol Theyare All Japanese original cuisine. I have seen so many tourist who are not really enjoying their meals in Japan, and I feel sorry. This place will give you a really good memory in Japan!!

Had a fantastic dinner tonight at this eclectic restaurant. I was by myself so I ordered the course menu. But next time I come I really want to try their mabotofu.

15 out of 10. My husband and I loved this place. Kaarage was very delicious. The venison was also another win. The service was pretty great too. Thank you for making our first night in Kyoto sensational!
