it is in the parking lot just in front of the family mart. I got the rice and curry, which was very tasty. This cafe had at the time only 4 options in the menu but absolutely recommend. The owner speaks English and he is easy to talk to and a very nice person. The place is very clean and well organized.

After exploring the historic Nijō Castle, I stopped by this cozy café for a hot sandwich and coffee, and it was a delightful experience. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The music playing in the background added a nice touch, enhancing the overall ambience. As for the food, the sandwich was delicious, well-prepared, and satisfying, while the coffee was just right - rich in flavor and a perfect pick-me-up. A great spot that added to the day's enjoyment.

Stopped by this cafe after my visit to Nijo Castle and it was great! The food was really delicious (I had the beef curry). I also had a lovely conversation with the owner who is incredibly kind and speaks fluent English. The only thing is it's tucked away behind a parking lot so it's a little harder to find. Go straight from the Nijo Castle intersection instead of turning right based on google directions and you'll have an easier time finding it. This is the kind of business you want to support!
