Cool, understated but awesome food. And you can just keep eating!

A must for anyone visiting Kyoto. Ive eaten at this restaurant twice now, once in 2016 and again in 2019. Both times the food and service was exceptional. The family is friendly and is able to speak a little English. Great date night spot if you don’t mind loosening the belt buckle. Highly recommend the standard option which is an all you can eat rotation of deep fried foods (Kushi). The skewers come out one at a time so it doesn’t feel like a buffet.
