Not many seats and you sitting around the kitchen and the chef. 20 sticks is served and all tastes fantastic. You get the feeling that you sitting on the floor butt your legs is just hanging down an opening under the “bar desk” very nice atmosphere. Would definitely bock us in again if we going to Kyoto again.

Wasn’t expecting such good service and such good quality food. I’m usually not a big fan of fried food, only tried because it’s a Kansai specialty. Was pleasantly surprised, the skewers, although fired, were not greasy. Ingredients were top notch. Service was superb. Really good value for money.

The food was incredible. 20 “courses”, all very unique and delicious. It sounds like a lot, but if you come hungry you won’t be disappointed. The location is great as well, just off a main road, tucked in a back ally. I would definitely recommend this place.
