Kyoto, Japan｜Yokoyama

Sadly we found this place on our last night in Kyoto! We got a seat very quickly and got an English Menu Card, the prices are moderate and food tastes amazing! Theres also a variety on food (also some vegetarian options )or drinks (ofc sake, but also wines).

We really liked the place. Food was great and we ordered wagyu beef, shrimps and fondue. It was easy to communicate in English, they also had an English menu and photo book with the pictures of every food served. Prices are surprisingly lower than expected for such food.

A wonderful gem in the backstreets of Kyoto. The food was delicious. They have an English menu and a photo of each meal. The eggplant and pork was a winner. s well as the pork stir fry. Do yourself a favour and try the beef as well! Hot tip, treat it as a shared meal (like tapas) rather than individual meals, we approached it like al a carte- 20/20 hindsight.
