More Comments at Google MapAwesome and cosy restaurant with good prices (we paid less than 5000 yen for 3 people - grilled meat, boiled pork and kimchi nabe). There was a simple English menu with pictures and a helpful waitress who could speak good English, which really helped. Nice dipping sauce, tender meat and kimchi soup tasted very homemade (in a good way)
The restaurant didn’t have an English menu but we didn’t need one. We’re able to get by with showing Google review pictures to the staff. The young lady spoke fluent English. We ordered ten orders of meat, rice for six, 2 salads, and soft drinks for everyone. Bill came out to be $82 usd. Everyone was full and satisfied. If you’re into Korean style grill meat, give this a try. Staff was friendly and food was excellent!
Quick and very efficient service. The server that assisted my family was very friendly and spoke decent English, which was why she was able to recommend some of their signature items on the menu. Only hiccup was when our rice portion was actually given to us at the medium size (which was pretty big) when we initially thought it was a shared family bowl of sorts, but it was okay, as we managed to polish off the rice with the kimchi nabe. Meat was also pretty well marinated and delicious. Only wished that our command of Japanese was strong enough so that we could have requested for the meat in the kimchi nabe to be changed to something that is less fatty, as we were pretty full after the initial round of meat and was unable to polish the rest of it off. As mentioned earlier, service was pretty fast and although they had a reservation booked later for 7PM as mentioned by the staff, my family was able to whisk in at 6PM and was pretty much out of the doors by 6.30PM or so, due to how efficient they were. The staff was able to keep an eye on the situation and step in to help us with certain stuff e.g the changing of the metal grill to the kimchi nabe pot at a perfect timing. Place was very welcoming to foreign tourists as there are many staying in the nearby area. Was a accidental find, but a welcomed one. Highly recommended.
