Osaka, Japan｜玉子たこ焼き ひよこ - Hiyoko

I was tired of all the overhyped dotonbori takoyaki so I'm happy to found this place. A small nook with only about 7 counter top, it's cozy and I had one of the best takoyaki I've had in my life. This restaurant specializes in takoyaki, and they also have yakisoba. You can also order different type of sauce for the takoyaki was well. They were soft, creamy, and fluffy.

A small izakaya specializing in akashiyaki or tamagoyaki, as the shop calls it. Tamagoyaki is similar to takoyaki but more creamier and eggier. In other words, way better than takoyaki. They have beer and oden like a normal izakaya but with only 10 seats. This is best takaoyaki so far I have tried in my 10x in Japan.

350 yen for 6 pieces. 700 yen for 12 pieces. 1000 yen for 18 pieces. Really delicious octopus Takoyaki. Kind of away from the crowds, another hidden gem.
