Osaka, Japan｜Motsunabe Miyawaki

We decided to steer away from all the touristy spots to try something that was unique to the neighborhood, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and time here. We had no trouble ordering despite the language barrier, the waitstaff was extremely nice, patient and helpful with our orders. We ordered two dishes & they were both very delicious. We definitely felt the warmth that everyone speaks of Osakans. Thank you for the lovely experience!

A lovely local place, near to Osaka Castle area. Owner spoke minimal English, but Google translate does a good job for the menu. Extremely friendly owner anyway! Loved the food. The grilled beef innards with miso was out of this world. Melt in your mouth intestines, zero gamey taste at all. (And trust me I've tried enough innards to know they usually come out with a strong meaty gamey and sometimes even foul taste. But this place does it so well and doesn't have this at all) The hotpot was amazing too. No gamey taste in the soup at all, just this lovely umami and peppery soup, with pre-grilled melt in your mouth beef parts. Paired with some Kirin beer, truly a meal to remember. Don't be afraid to try this!! Its a unique dish prepared skilfully.

All-you-can-eat motsunabe was very delicious! ️ There were many other menus, so I want to go again. I would have been happier if the motsunabe in the motsunabe was a little bigger, but the taste was great 😊
