Osaka, Japan｜Kushikatsu Daruma - Dobutsuen-mae

Awesome skewer food. Easy sets to order if you are not local. We had 2 sets and ordered even more (2 adults and 1 child). Highly recommended!

A little hesitant at first to try this restaurant as it’s a chain - but it was on my checklist on what to try if we are in Shinsekai, and so we did. We were utterly surprised by how good the Kushi katsu was! Everything was so so good! We ordered the set at first but then proceed to order ala carte - anything cheese was amazing! We went at about 4ish so we were lucky to not get stuck in a waiting line. A must must try if you are ever in this lovely area of Shinsekai. Again - fried cheese is a must try!!!!!

Very delicious kushikatsu place, always full and sometimes you have to wait a while until seated. The waiters have been all very friendly to me and the food does not take too long. It is very deep fried and not the healthiest thing but that’s obvious. I think it’s kind of pricey: I paid 17€ for the pictured things but it’s in a touristy area so that’s still reasonable!
