Osaka, Japan｜Kitashinchi again

My wife and I dined here on our honeymoon. We did not make a reservation but thankfully managed to get a seat. The restaurant is a little hard to find, but definitely a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend booking, and visiting for dinner if you are in Osaka. The chef carefully prepares many different dishes, mostly fried, and the staff are all attentive and polite. Once they found out it was our honeymoon, they provided us with cakes as a gift from a nearby patisserie on our way out. Very thoughtful and kind, and anyone able to reserve a seat here should consider themselves lucky!

Having been to Japan multiple times, Again was easily one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Japan. It was a fun and creative kushikatsu experience with incredible dishes, and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka. The staff were warm and friendly, and made a concerted effort to help translate given the language barrier. My favorite dishes included the scallop, quail egg, and uni sukiyaki. Very surprising that anyone would rate this restaurant poorly, and we’re excited to come back…again.

This was one of my best meals in Japan. Everything was flawless from start to finish. I have to say, the service was some of the best I have ever received. The staff made every effort to overcome the language barrier and really made us feel at home.
