More Comments at Google MapWonderful restaurant, everything about it stood out. Fun atmosphere, staff is friendly, food is outstanding. Every new item the chef presented to us was delicious. Didn't realize at first that when you're done eating, there is a dessert, so save room for a couple more bites, it's great!
They have omakase kushikatsu sets and were out of the way so I was able to find a seat even in the middle of golden week. For about 3000 yen set lunch it was a delightful experience
A fine establishment serving some of the best kushikatsu around! Each skewer has multiple layers to it instead of a simple protein and the complex combinations are well done! An example of such complexity is the celery, wrapped in bacon and fish, while containing the small florets of a chinese broccoli in the celery’s cavity. The batter is also simply perfect, and well accentuates the oily flavour and picks up sauce and salt very well! Would highly recommend the omakase as having a variety of skewers is kind of the point in these kinds of establishments and you’ll discover hidden gems like the fried apple skewer! Ordering the same skewer multiple times is simply uncultured. The staff are on the quieter side but it’s understandable as they are super busy. There were 2 staff at the front when I first entered the restaurant at 7, but that gradually went up to 4 as the night went on. The way the fry cooks press the batter onto the skewers and hold the chopsticks is also very elegant in its own way. Overall a very positive experience!
