More Comments at Google MapWe were lucky to stay nearby on days the place operates. Had a fantastic homemade meal along with smiles from the hosts and great drinks. Was one of the highlights of the trip to Osaka.
This is a tiny restaurant that is run entirely by 1 person! Thus, there are 3 seatings every 1.5 hours. The main choice you have is which type of miso soup you want. When I went there were 3 types, but 1 sold out entirely! I had the spinach miso jiru with daikon and it was fabulous. There was also a slice of yuzu in the miso which, I must say, I am now a convert! There are several small side dishes and 2 onigiri that are topped with miso. Yum. Note: Everything is in Japanese. No English menu. I also had to wait quite a long time to be seated, but the chef mentioned that there are times when it is empty and times when it's full. Just know that there is only 1 person doing EVERYTHING so don't go if you are in a mega rush and can't enjoy the miso.
This shop is about 3 minutes walk from Nakatsu Station ☺️ The owner has a wonderful smile and is a very kind person 🎶 I had miso soup with red bean paste and shiratama, and milk pork soup with Jerusalem artichoke😋 It was very delicious🌈
