Osaka, Japan｜Gyutan Sumibiyaki Yoshiji

We ordered a 5-piece and a 4 piece set meals. Each came with barley rice, pickled mustard leaves, chili peppers and oxtail soup. We also ordered atsukan and ringosu haiboru to go with the meal. You just can't get grilled tongue with this level of taste and texture in America. Food is delish and drinks are on point . Of course we had to chase our main meals down with another 5 pieces of grilled gyuutan and gyuutan sausages. After that food coma forced us to return to our hotel. The chef was helpful and friendly to foreigners like my wife and I. Could not recommend Gyuutan Sumiyaki Yoshiji enough, especially for $75 USD when we ate like we were 3 starving teenagers. 5 out 5!

Nice BBQ beef tongue of Sendai. No sauce required, just taste the original flavor. Soup is outstanding

I was very happy to have found this place after a long night of drinking. The ox tongue is tasty with great texture. The ox tail soup is pretty damn delicious as well. The meal was just about ¥2200. A place I'll return to try more items.
