Osaka, Japan｜Okonomiyaki Bonkuraya Dotombori

I tried to get to an Okonomiyaki restaurant later than I usually would, around 21:30 on a Friday. And this place was one of the few places that was open! As a European that is a very big plus. The staff was super friendly and pointed out some house rules like one drink and food are required, and there's a 2 hour limit. Quite reasonable. I was alone but that wasn't a problem. I didn't have to wait and got an English menu quickly. The food and the service was great and fast. Some seats overlook the dotonbori street, which is a great view. I got 2 draft beers, an Okonomiyaki and some lotus cheese.

Nice teppanyaki and okonomiyaki place. Reasonable price and good food. Around 3000/person for us two people for the food in the pics with some beverages and taxes. Seems to be a very popular place for local people. We were there at around 19:30 on Tuesday, and it was almost full. One thing on the Con side for me is this place allows smoking. I’m not giving it a four-star for this though as it’s just personal preference. A good Xpress and Teppanyaki restaurant, the price is quite reasonable, and the taste is not bad! We ate the ones in the picture, and it was more than 3,000 per person (plus drinks and consumption tax). It seems to be a favorite place for locals, and it was almost full on Tuesday night. One bad thing for us is that you can smoke inside. However, the table where we smoked for a few minutes after we went in and sat down was removed (after all, it was all smoke after dinner), so it was actually okay. Whether to smoke or not is a personal preference, so I won't give 4 stars.

Just one word! Awesome!!! Simply!!! Worth the queue! Food is so flavourful, ingredients are fresh! Friendly staff and service!
