Casual Tonkatsu place, English menu, super good value and very nice owners.

Stumbled upon this place as we are staying in the area. The lovely gentleman that was working was super kind and attentive, helpfully explaining how to eat certain things and also bringing me a glass of water without me having to ask as he noticed I was going to take some medication soon.

Service lunch 880 yen Fried fish and fillet cutlet The fries here are light, crispy, and really delicious! The rice is also glossy and chewy. It's always crowded at lunchtime, but the staff are friendly and serve customers well. Even when it's crowded, the wait time isn't that long, and the food comes out quickly, which is nice. I think the cost performance is very good for this price and quality. Since there are so many different menus to choose from, I can't decide which one to choose and usually choose the service lunch option.
