Osaka, Japan｜Takoyaki Juhachiban Dotonbori

Very fun. You can watch them prep the takoyaki as you stand in line. For us there weren't many people and the line moved fast - it leads you to a vending machine where you can pay for your order and hand the ticket to one of the guys working there. We really enjoyed the takoyaki because these have special tempura flakes so the balls include a nice crunch. The sauces give it an excellent flavor and the texture is pretty unique - gooey and chewy and also crunchy. Definitely a fun place to try. I wanted to try the green onion one but you could only order 8 of those and that was too much for me. ;)

Very found experience to walk around dontonbori street and try all the street food. Our friend from osaka recommended this stall in particular and we weren't disappointed. There was a line when we went but it went by fairly quickly. You have to order and pay through a machine and then get a ticket. Food was good, no complaints.

In the middle of the crazy Dotonbori you can find this very nice Takoyaki 🐙 place. In case of allergens they use prawn powder in their recipe. But if you don’t have any problem about it this place is really good! I recommend you to have the spring onion and mayo takoyaki, very very good 👍 And extremely fast service!!
