Osaka, Japan｜Hanadako

One of the best takoyaki in Osaka. Takoyaki is originated from Osaka and being one of the most famous snacks in Osaka. "tako" (蛸) is japanese word for octopus and "yaki" (焼) means grill or baked. It's a ball shaped food made of wheat based batter which contain various different fillings and toppings. In here the batter is very soft and it went well with chopped octopus & green onion. Freshly cooked, great textures on the outside, soft and juicy inside. We went several times when we were at Osaka. Highly recommended, will definitely come back.

We saw a line here as we were walking by & queued for 45 minutes at ~10:30AM on a weekend! The takoyaki was delicious - we got the negimayo with oolong tea! Would probably skip the oolong tea next time but the negimayo tally ski was worth it!!

Awesome takoyaki. Delicious. Cheap and fast. Can dine in standing or take away. 1st shop at traffic junction. Will definitely buy again next time. Bought 20 balls at 1 go, no regrets. Look at the octopus size!
