Osaka, Japan｜Takoyaki Mahō-dako

I would like to tell everyone on google that if you have the chance to go to Takoyaki Maho-dako: GO FOR IT YOU WON’T REGRET IT I SWEAR !! 😍 Honestly I don’t understand why it’s a 4.9/5 reviews on google, I can def confirm it is a 5/5 it’s really a hidden gem! We ate takoyakis with good reviews from google in the Doronbori area and it didn’t tasted as good as this. The chef is super sweet and takes time to explain what are the choices/recommendations in English. The takoyakis were sooooo goood: SOO crispy on the outside and so sooo tasty on the inside! The octopus inside are so amazing as well 🤌🏻🤌🏻. Thank you for this experience we’ll come back whenever we’ll be back to Osaka 🥹🥰😍 PS: we were 2 and took 18 takoyakis (9 sesame oil and 9 mayonnaise and sesame oil), I wish our bellies would have been able to eat more 🥲

On a non-descript side street about a 7-minute walk from Temma Station, the takoyaki here is on another level! Definitely the best I’ve ever had. Nice firm crunch on the outside and the perfect consistency inside. The octopus is significant and perfectly cooked and they also add konjac, made from the root of the konjac plant, as it was explained to me. It’s a great compliment. As others mentioned, there are 3 flavors… plain, sesame oil and mayonnaise with sesame oil. Do yourself a favor and order at least 3-4 of each. If you’re a takoyaki fan, this is a hidden gem not to be missed!

OMG! The most delicious Takoyaki I have ever eaten. The shop is very cute and the shopkeeper is a very kind enough person explained all the different varieties. I wish I was living in Osaka to come back for more.
