Tamba-Sasayama, Hyogo, Japan｜Nyogetuan

When in Tamba-Sasayama you have to eat wild boar and chestnuts - and this is probably the place to go. My experience was great. Very delicious! But since I was travelling alone the portion was just too much. Nevertheless it was so good that I want to eat it all! The surrounding, the house and the staff was completing the great experience! Thank you!

Reservations recommended but not required. The wild boar 🐗 hot pot was wonderful and delicious. All went well with the Japanese sake. Staff were very courteous and kind when summoned via the phone in the rooms. The garden and interior was beautiful and like being transported to old times in Japan. Would like to visit the neighboring hotel someday.
