Delicious food, warn environment, and great staff. Everything tasted great but the thing that won't leave my memory is the deep savory flavor of the suppon nabe soup.

Mr. Hyotei with a soft-shelled turtle swimming in the tank. It's a great restaurant for entertaining guests as it has private rooms. The atmosphere of the room is moderately old, so you can relax and enjoy your meal. I could see Himeji Castle from my room on the second floor. The attentive service is wonderful. The people at the store are friendly without being rude. Above all, the food is delicious and the attention to detail in each item is surprising. It was my first time to eat fried moray eel, and at first I thought it was blowfish. The collagen under the skin was exquisite and very filling. Also, the sukiyaki is served in a bowl, so you don't have to separate it for your guests, so you can move on to the next dish. It tasted good even when I split it. There were many other things as well, all of which were delicious. I would definitely use it again if I have a chance.
