I thought that if I came to Kakogawa, I would like to eat katsumeshi, so I went to Maruman Honten, which seemed to have a good atmosphere. It is located in the shopping district of Jikemachi. Founded in the 30th year of the Meiji era, the historical shop is so wonderful that you will feel like you are in a movie set! ️ There is a large clock on the high ceiling, there are tatami mat seats, and the seats are spacious. It is so comfortable that you want to stay there forever. There were a lot of menus, but I put mini udon on katsumeshi. I noticed later, but in the summer, you can also add chilled mini udon noodles. The katsumeshi is undeniably delicious, and the mini udon soup makes it easy to finish eating even after deep-frying. All the shop staff will greet you, and you will be healed by interacting with the regulars and looking around the grandpa who is eating omelet rice. I had the impression that it was loved not only by the local gourmet called Katsumeshi, but also by the people of the city as a dining room.

Since I came to Kakogawa, I asked to eat Katsumeshi. It looked like an udon restaurant, but I was surprised that there was katsumeshi, and I was even more surprised that customers who came after me also asked for katsumeshi. It is a long-established store with a long history, and you can feel the history from the store, and the atmosphere is outstanding. The katsumeshi was delicious and very good.
