This is the first time since moving to Shirahama. I went on a Saturday morning. The store is beautiful, but I liked the atmosphere of the old market 😅 I thought the whole menu was reasonably priced, and I thought the seafood bowl (above) would be a bit small, but I was full. I'm thankful that it's open from 6:30 AM, so I was able to eat right away without getting crowded early in the morning 👏 Recommended!! ️

I had a large tuna bowl and pork soup. There was a large amount of pickled tuna, and a thin layer of wasabi greens was sprinkled between the rice. Please see other people's posts for prices, but the tuna bowl costs 700 yen, and the large one costs 150 yen, making it the best value for money. I went around 6:10 in the morning, and about 70% of the seats were occupied, and by the 40th minute, there were about 10 people in line. Perhaps they were busy at this time, so the only bowl available was tuna bowl. Next time I would like to go eat seafood bowl 😉 I highly recommend it, so please come and give it a try❗ October 7th P.S. I ate seafood bowl. Because it is a popular restaurant with a long history, the shop is old and you need courage to enter. When you enter, there is a side dish on the left and a kitchen on the right. I ordered a limited-time grilled tuna cheek meat bowl (large) (1100 yen) and arajiru (230 yen). The miso soup arrived first, and I was surprised by the amount of miso. The rags that were splendidly served were jumping out of the vessel. The ingredients change daily, so this time there were several types such as sea bream and salmon. You can enjoy the best taste with sweet seasoning and umami from the fish. 230 yen is too cheap for this. Next came the broiled bowl of cheek meat (large). I thought it would be small for a large one, but when I tried it, it was full of volume. The head of the fish has more flavor than the body. In particular, the taste of the cheek meat comes out as you chew. It feels like roasted meat from the broiling and texture. Although it is fish, it also feels like grilled meat. I heard rumors, but it was a reasonable and delicious restaurant. One drawback is that the interior of the store is quite old, so it cannot be used on special occasions. Recommended as a delicious public dining room. (postscript) I revisited. It was late and the juice was sold out. Order pork soup. It was smaller than arajiru and contained rare bean sprouts in pork soup. Additional order of salt-grilled tuna (600 yen). They warmed it up in the microwave and served ponzu sauce. It's better to bring a wet tissue with you because the shop is sticky no matter where you touch it. Please note that this is not a shop where you go in clean clothes.
