More Comments at Google MapIzushi soba for the first time in a while. There are a lot of soba shops around, but I chose a shop where you can see how soba noodles are made. Since I lived in Ehime for a long time, I used to eat a lot of udon noodles, but after I started working in Tokyo, I started eating buckwheat noodles from time to time. ️ Good ingredients are used, and the buckwheat and soup are chilled. The dessert Daifuku was also extremely soft. I heard that the Crown Prince (the current emperor) also ate it when he thought it was delicious. I agree.
A soba restaurant (Japanese sweets shop) right next to the clock tower "Shinkoro", which is the symbol of Izushi. The first floor is a Japanese sweets shop, but you can sometimes see the making of the soba through the glass from the main street. My wife and I on this day. Have a counter seat overlooking the clock tower and the pond (inner moat) in front of you, and enjoy cold tea, soba karinto, and Gonbei mochi (I love you). Each order is Izushi soba (5 slices of Sara soba). Soba soup with wasabi and green onions. Comes with grated yam and hot spring egg. Rock salt is also available on request. It's delicious to put everything in the soba cup first, but the first dish is just the soup, and the second dish is wasabi and green onions. Next, you can enjoy the change in taste by adding eggs and grated yam. The soba noodles go down your throat, and the refreshing bonito soup gives you the illusion that you can eat as many plates as you like. Even the female college students who seem to be coming for the first time can't hide their excitement about the atmosphere of the shop and the Japanese sweets and soba noodles. Finally, I got soba-yu. Thank you for the meal. My favorite restaurant in Izushi soba. Everyone has their own tastes, and there are so many shops, so try saving up!
The second floor is the dining space. The view is great if you sit by the window. Tea, Gonbei mochi, and soba karinto came. It comes with 5 pieces of soba noodles and condiments such as green onion, wasabi, yam, and hot spring egg. I think it's best to ask the staff at the restaurant to tell you how to eat it. I tried other restaurants, but this one was the most delicious for me.
