Although it is a little far from the center of Himeji, we had the best soba noodles in the best atmosphere in an old townhouse. It's a couple, so I'm going to have a warm response. The buckwheat is not too strong, but the soup stock is elegant. Hearth dishes are basically served at night, but reservations can be made for lunch only from January to March. They also have seasonal events where you can watch fireflies at night, so I think it would be great to pair it with delicious alcohol. The journey is mostly northbound on the national highway, but I recommend turning on Google Maps or a car navigation system so you don't miss the left turn point near the store.

A soba restaurant in an old folk house a little far from the city. I visited for lunch, but the atmosphere was very good and the soba was delicious. The wood burning stove is nice too.
