Very traditional soba, not spoiled by the tourist ( though I'm a tourist) Funny and delicious

Soba and ONLY Soba, served in a fun style with suggestions on how to best enjoy. First serving, salt only, second serving, plain dashi, third serving, dashi mixed with green onions and ginger and so on. Don't worry the serving is small; 5 servings per individual order! One order was perfect for me, but there were others with as many as 45 small plates or 9 servings of finished Soba on the table! A true Japanese, totally authentic Soba experience! Fun, Delicious, Only in Japan.

The best soba in Izushi, by far. The soup, noodles, and extra toppings were fantastic and left me wanting more! There is also a neat challenge where you can earn a plaque for eating over twenty plates of soba. Make sure you go on an empty stomach! One note, it's very popular and therefore the wait time can be long. Be prepared to wait for a while.
