However, since my friend also wanted a ``bamboo lunch,'' I asked him to make a reservation starting at 11 a.m. Kashiwara is a castle town, so the roads leading to the shops are quite narrow, so it can be a bit of a struggle if you drive a large car. The shop is located in an old private house in the city, and when you pass through the kido entrance, there is a stepping stone garden, and the entrance is immediately there. The inside of the restaurant has tables and chairs set up in a tatami room, which seems to be a consideration for people with disabilities and the elderly. The ``Bamboo Lunch'' comes with several types of appetizers, including sesame tofu, hijiki marinated, sweet potato marinated, and mozuku. Next comes mackerel sushi, Inari, and tempura. The tempura is packed with shrimp, sweet potatoes, lotus roots, eggplant, and paprika, and it's delicious when freshly fried. Finally, the main dish was the soba noodles, which were thinly sliced ​​soba noodles made with Hokkaido buckwheat flour called ``Uryu.'' They had a firm texture and had a very smooth texture, and my friend was impressed, saying, ``It's delicious!'' The soba soup was dark in color and I thought it would be spicy, but it had a very light flavor that I liked. Dessert was yuzu ice cream with soba noodles. As for my impressions of the food, the soba noodles were delicious and satisfied my soba-loving friend and I, and it is a soba restaurant that I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity. However, as the staff said, the ``Bamboo Lunch'' is very filling, so if you want to eat less, it might be better to choose a lunch set with soba or tempura or mackerel sushi. Also, ``Wasabi'' is a popular restaurant, so it's a good idea to make a reservation before visiting on weekends.
