Tamba, Hyogo, Japan｜三津屋妹尾

This is the first time I had soba in Japan. This restaurant has 5 parking spaces and can only seat 5 tables so it can be busy and you may need to wait. However, the wait is well worth it. The noodles were excellent and the owners are very kind. The dining area is an old style tatami room and had 4 chair tables and one floor table. It is a comfortable atmosphere. The meal set is a lot of food! Even the small size. I'm so full after this. Thank you for a good meal.

I came to a nearby roadside station, so I searched for nearby soba restaurants and found this shop. It's a hidden restaurant that's hard to find if you're passing by, and the taste and atmosphere were a hit. Niha soba is a thin, white type, while Juwari is a thick noodle with a firm texture, making it a favorite choice. Not only the soba noodles, but the soba brats went well with the sansho tsukudani (sansho tsukudani) topping, and it was delicious even without soy sauce. Later, I had some soba-yu, which was also thick and rich, like lees soup, and I drank it down every drop as if I was drinking soup. Finished! Thank you for the meal.

I often visit the Tanba region, but I didn't know there was such a wonderful soba restaurant. This time, I got a set of synergistic soba and mackerel sushi that you can enjoy two kinds of 28 and 100%. I enjoyed the scent so much that I ate more than half of it without adding anything. Juwari soba in the picture is a large serving. Mackerel sushi is also excellent. It is located in the back of the village, but there are flags and small signs at key points, so you won't get lost. As a point of caution, the parking lot in front of the store is a little narrow, so I think it would be better to pay attention to a large car.
