I like ramen, soba, tempura, and hamburger patties very much.

Both Oni Soba restaurants in Fukuchiyama Oe are closed, so on my way to Toyooka I saw a sign for Izushi Soba and stopped. It's been a long time since I last had Sarasoba. It's not big, but it's full of green onions, wasabi, yams, small eggs, and other condiments, and it's delicious. The tempura with two shrimp, pumpkin, and green pepper was crispy and very delicious. We enjoyed Sunday lunch while Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto and Liszt's La Camparella played.

I happened to find it while passing by and went in. Although it was late lunch time, it wasn't crowded and we were able to eat right away. 10 pieces of soba noodles can be served in no time. If you want to go through the trouble of waiting in line to eat in downtown Izushi, that's fine too. If you're looking for Izushi soba, this is the place for you. In addition to soba, there are many other options such as ramen, croquettes, and rice bowl dishes. There is also a famous egg-cooked rice restaurant nearby. After filling your stomach along the national highway here, you can work up a sweat at the Silk Hot Spring ♨️ right in front of you. I think it's a great combination.
