Although not very good at Japanese, the clerk is still very enthusiastic to help with ordering. While using the mobile phone to help translate, he directly showed us the ingredients and explained what the menu said. I ordered a Kobe beef set meal, the taste of Kobe beef is also very good, it is the first time to eat Kobe beef, the experience is great! The grilled yam and salad are also delicious. I feel that the menu is completely lacking. Order it casually and give the owner a thumbs up! a very authentic restaurant
This is a great little restaurant if you're interested in trying Kobe beef, but aren't sure. A wonderful small restaurant that serves great food at a variety of prices ranging from 1000 yen for pork to 11,000 for the Kobe beef main course. Going with a few friends, I went for the Kobe beef course, which includes a salad, pork omelette, this scallion, your choice of a finisher and the main steak course with a dip dish of pepper, wasabi, and salt. See photos for a better description. Dishes are also served one at a time. The salad was great with the sesame sauce. That smooth salad dress was full of umami, which would have made you think that the leaves, which are grown in Kobe, was grown on the sauce. The omelette, while hot was still a little running giving that awesome ooze that makes you want to pick up the plate and slurp with the rest of the sweet omelette sauce. As for the main steak course. The steak was cooked medium rare and is one of the softest steaks I've ever had. The fat sets the steak at a great level. But when you add the side tray of spices, it brings the steak to a whole new level that makes you just want to sit and spend the rest of the time there. Once you finish the steak, your served with a finish of either soba rice, garlic rice or omyakase (I'm butchering the name). Which goes very well especially with the steak juices if you're lucky to keep the steak plate.
Stumbled upon this hidden gem randomly, we went specifically to try Kobe beef and weren't disappointed. Food was top notch, reasonably priced, a very authentic Japanese restaurant!
