Himeji, Hyogo, Japan｜Musashi

Great little place between Himeji castle and the shinkansen station. We stopped off for a late lunch around 1:30 after seeing the castle. There is an English menu inside, and you get free water and a coffee at the end. From what I read from another review, it is family run and that seems the case inside. Very lovely and genuine front of house staff. We really enjoyed this meal and glad we stopped.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting Himeji Castle. Lovely little location with a simplified English menu. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the good was tasty and reasonably priced.

I have been traveling for 20 days all along Japan and this was the best meal in all my trip. The fried beef was perfect, the salad with the sesame sauce was so tasty and the soup delicious. I would like to upload a better picture but there was no time for pics before the meal ;) By the way: very very cheap!
