Akashi, Hyogo, Japan｜お好み焼・鉄板焼 つくし 明石本店

Really nice okonomiyaki restaurant with a few special recommended dishes. This place was introduced to be by an English student, I wasn't disappointed. Not sure if they have an English menu however.

It is about a 3 -minute walk from Akashi Station. I went at the same time as opening at 11:30, but there were many people as it was, and after 30 minutes, there were some people who were full. It is a popular shop used by locals. There are some table seats and parlors inside the store. It is a so -called okonomiyaki restaurant with an iron plate on each table. I ordered yakisoba and Akashi -yaki, but unlike Akashi -yaki, it came out like an omelet. It was very delicious when I ate it on the broth. The price was reasonable and good.

Recommended by an acquaintance, I visited for lunch for the first time. I enjoyed the crunchy and creamy okonomiyaki and Akashiyaki with draft beer. The menu other than okonomiyaki is also attractive, and it is a shop where you want to sit down and drink at night.
