Himeji, Hyogo, Japan｜懐石 鷺風

This was one of the best meals I have had anywhere in the world. My family was seated in a room and brought probably 15 course dinner. The flavors were incredibly well constructed, the presentations were gorgeous, and the quality was great. I was awe-struck by every dish. The service was absolutely impeccable and upon exit the entire staff was out front saying goodbye to us. We really felt like royalty throughout the entire experience. I've been to top restaurants in Rome, Florence, Chicago, LA, Kyoto, and in Phoenix where I live and I've never walked away from a meal so overwhelmed. Incredible.

I've been visiting Sagi Kaze since it was a small shop, and I never get tired of going there. My eyes can taste the deliciousness. It's one of my very favorite shops. The price is a bit high, but in terms of satisfaction, it's good value for money.
