Unpretentious little restaurant. Yummy grilled eels with sushi rice. Perfect after a day exploring Himeji Castle.

I stopped by on a business trip. The restaurant looks delicious, and it was actually delicious. Since I came all the way to Kansai, I ordered a set of sushi rolls and nigiri. All of the nigiri were meaty and filling. Including a small bottle of beer, the bill was 2,000 yen and I received change. I thought it was very conscientious. I would like to visit again if I have a chance. Add below Visited again a few years later. I wanted to order a sushi roll set called Osaka Sushi, but I was told it would take a while. So, I decided to order the same sushi roll and nigiri set as last time. Konoshiro sushi is said to be a seasonal item. Instead of a set of 4 items, I asked for just 1 additional item. The set of sushi rolls and nigiri was very delicious, just like when I visited before. The Konoshiro sushi was also large and very delicious. It was good to visit again.

Conger eel flyers are the best! First of all, the vinegared rice with rice is delicious😋 The vinegar and sweetness are delicately balanced. Shiitake mushrooms are also great. I think the sushi rolls would be delicious too. Local conger eel can be enjoyed both grilled and steamed. Isn't it possible to eat such delicious conger eel? Moving!
