Great seafood caught by the owner himself!No English menu but highly recommended.

We had dinner there on arrival in Kobe. What a wonderful experience. This is as traditional as they come. The fish is fresh and soft and expertly prepared. The owner is such a gentleman. I can certainly recommend this restaurant, be prepared for an overload of your taste sensation. I can certainly recommend this restaurant if you want to experience true traditional Japanese food and drink.

Our first visit. Feel welcomed and appreciated when communicating with the owner. We opted for corner counter seats instead of table. Service was prompt and always with a smile. All the eight a la carte seafood dishes recommended by the chef were extremely fresh and the taste was above our expectations. Price was relatively reasonable. We like both the boiled and grilled saikyo-seasoned sea bream, omakase sashimi. Rice and freshwater clam miso soup were so yummy and filling. Toilet was clean. Credit cards accepted. Overall, this is a comfortable local seafood restaurant where we can dine at our own pace. As this is a smoking permitted restaurant, dine early if you wish to avoid the crowds. Highly recommended.
