Himeji, Hyogo, Japan｜おでん いち佳

They say I'm the first Korean to visit. First of all, this store. It's a small shop that I've been wanting to visit for a while... It's an oden bar with a bar-style atmosphere where about 6 to 8 people gather and chat. The other customers and the hostess who were in the store that day were nice people with kind smiles and elegant looks. This is a place I definitely recommend stopping by. However, I think people who speak a little Japanese will probably enjoy the good atmosphere. (I can't understand more than half of the Japanese because my eyesight is at a tourist level, but it was fun.) It's an oden bar at the very back of the alley. I ordered two menu items and drank a glass of Japanese sake and two bottles of beer. I took a picture of the first menu when I was in a good state of mind, but I couldn't take a picture of the second menu, and I took a picture of the entrance to the store when I left. If you are curious about Japanese bars, I recommend taking a look at Himeji's beautiful castle and having a drink here in the evening. I heard that this is a nice restaurant where the oden is very delicious. Only the counter was full with around 6 people. The store has a bright and elegant atmosphere. Please put the oden you want to eat on a large plate. I'm happy to receive a new dashi soup each time I get a refill. They serve it with mustard, but they also serve ginger and soy sauce, so you can eat as you like and drink alcohol. I can’t believe there is a shop like this in Himeji!? I was so happy.

They only speak Japanese and they only accept cash, but it's a great place if you're traveling alone or with two people. It's difficult if you're a group because there's only one bar. The oden is delicious and the atmosphere is nice. The line to get in is long, but it's worth coming in.
