Akashi, Hyogo, Japan｜Imai

2023.5.5 First of all, this is a really nice store!! ️ On the way back from the Wakayama Ichinomiya pilgrimage, I had planned to have a shirasu-don lunch in Kada, but Kada was already a famous tourist spot, and all the restaurants were full, so please excuse me. I ran for a while to endure lunch. Of course, the main attraction in Akashi is tamagoyaki (Akashiyaki). Eat at a regular restaurant in a private house in a residential area, not a chain restaurant. I got off the expressway at Akashi and headed for a shop on the sea side instead of in front of the station, but both of the shops I was aiming for ended up being sold out or understaffed. This "Imai", which came with the last resort, is open. It was helpful. The shop is located in a dense residential area, but there is a parking lot for 3 cars next door. I was welcomed and entered the store. Order beef tendon plus for tamagoyaki (Akashiyaki) and okonomiyaki. First of all, we will have hot and fluffy tamagoyaki. What is it? I can't find any words other than delicious. It was so delicious that I ordered another serving to take home. The okonomiyaki is also different from the Kansai style or our Hiroshima style. It's an okonomiyaki version of tamagoyaki, or like a teppan tororo at an izakaya. While we were eating, some tourists with children came, but I was impressed by the wonderful reception of the shop staff. Again, this is a really nice store. I will definitely come back.

I was able to eat the Akashiyaki that I had always wanted. We call it tamagoyaki here. I went there prepared to wait in line, but since it was around noon, I was able to eat inside easily. 700 yen for 20 pieces. Very reasonable. Tamagoyaki goes very well with Japanese-style soup stock. But if you don't pay attention, you'll get a burn in your mouth. I feel like I can have as many as I want. The people at the store are also nice. Thank you for the meal.

The parking lot is on the right side of the road across the store. The menu included not only tamagoyaki (Akashiyaki) but also okonomiyaki and yakisoba. There is beer, but there was non-alcoholic beer in the car. It was run by a family and felt like home. I ate tamagoyaki for the first time, but it is fluffy and soft and goes well with the soup stock. Taking out is also okay.
