More Comments at Google MapI visited Shin-Nagata for the first time. Since it was a special occasion, I had the famous “Bokkake Yakisoba” (550 yen). Compared to the yakisoba you usually have, the proportion of cabbage is quite high, but perhaps because it's shredded, it doesn't interfere with the texture of the noodles. It feels like you can taste it. Also, the leading role (?) Bokkake was delicious with a rich flavor. As you can see in the instructions posted on the table, the sauce is served thinly. It seems to be the style of this restaurant to add the sauce on the table and adjust the flavor to your liking. The system is a little different from other okonomiyaki and yakisoba restaurants, such as payment in advance and self-service water, but I can definitely recommend it at this price with this deliciousness. Added on August 14, 2023 This time, I bought the "Bokkake Yakisoba (Large) (800 yen including tax)" x 2 and the "Spicy Bara Sauce (400 yen including tax)" which is also placed on the table in the store. Of course, there is no doubt that it tastes the best when it's freshly made, but it's still delicious when you go home and microwave it. Also, the dry rose sauce goes well with other dishes such as ham and eggs, so I think it was a great decision to buy it and take it home!
A very popular teppanyaki noodle restaurant in Shin-Nagata. There are always some people around the shop, waiting for the yakisoba you ordered. It seems that the order was passed while waiting for a seat to become available, and as soon as I sat down at the counter, "Bokkake Yakisoba" and "Soba Meshi" arrived. There are only 3 types of main menus, including pork yakisoba. Miso soup and rice balls are like a topping menu. Since I'm from Kansai, I can add rice balls to yakisoba and sobameshi without any doubts (laughs). An exquisite and fascinating collaboration of thick noodles and spicy rose sauce. Delicious! Bokkake is a local dish of beef tendon cooked in a salty-sweet sauce with konnyaku. This is made with Japanese black beef tendon, and it melts in your mouth with a happy sweetness. It is served with a light and elegant seasoning, so you can arrange it to your liking with the rose sauce provided on the table. Light → rich → light → rich endless loop, dangerous and dangerous with momentum that you can eat as much as you want. All items are available for takeout, and I bought some noodles and spicy rose sauce as souvenirs.
There is also a yakisoba specialty store called “Soba-meshi”. If you ask for "Dobe Sauce", which is hard to get even among the "Bara Sauce" in Nagata, they will serve it. Friendly staff. Of course, the food is delicious, and we will finish it with a light taste so that you can adjust it to your liking. Takeout is so popular that there is always someone waiting.
