Kobe, Hyogo, Japan｜Chiyo

Chiyo is unique restaurant as it is a combination of Okonomiyaki and Cantonese cuisine restaurant, and both would exceed your expectations. Madame Chiyo is the main chef, and she is known because she once had a cooking battle with Chef Chen Kenichi (陳建一) in the TV show of the very original Iron Chef. Yet nice and cozy family run place. It’s a must go place in Kobe.

It was introduced on a TV program, so I made a reservation and came to the store. The famous boiled dumplings were delicious. The owner also served customers kindly and was busy, which made me like him more.The Cantonese food was delicious.This time I had the okonomiyaki course, but next time I would like to go for the Cantonese main course.

I didn't have the daily lunch I was looking for during the GW period, but I ordered Gomoku Yakisoba cooked on an iron plate. A delicious yakisoba with a strong Chinese flavor. Thank you again~
