Just as other reviewers mentioned, it’s very unique that u pour your roasted tea into your rice. There’s an English speaking waitress who will explain everything to you. The Oden is out of this world!! U can see the chef preparing. We ordered the mixed oden and the egg. All r amazing!! Service and atmosphere is so inviting that u want to order more! 🤣🤣You need to have cash to pay. They don’t take any form of card payment.

The store is open. There was a tea kettle at each seat, and the seats were covered with tatami mats, giving it a nice atmosphere. When you take your seat, the staff will prepare your tea and show you how to brew it. The tea has a sweet taste and I look forward to making it. This time, we had today's set meal. The rice was just right. Ochazuke is made by brewing the tea yourself, and the best part was the seaweed that loosened up when the tea was poured. I was satisfied with it as is, but I also ordered warabi mochi after the meal. Warabi mochi is served in a tub filled with ice. The scent of warabi mochi and soybean flour was delicious. It was delicious, and since I had some extra soybean flour, I just sprinkled soybean flour onto a small block of ice that I had spread out and ate it crunchy. It was a restaurant that I would definitely like to visit again if I have a chance to go nearby.

This is a carefully prepared Ochazuke set meal that breaks the concept of Ochazuke in a good way. If you are going for the first time, please try the mackerel or salmon. The light dashi rolls are delicious, but I think salty fish tastes better when paired with fluffy, sweet rice cooked in a clay pot. You can also choose the tea you want to make Ochazuke from among three types. Among the three types, I personally recommend Bunpukucha, which has a luxurious scent, if you want to make tea with it. It's a popular restaurant, so there's a line at lunchtime. I went after 1pm, so I was able to sit down without lining up. If you go outside lunchtime, you can sit without lining up.
