Nikko, Tochigi, Japan｜Bar de Nikko

Quaint, near the shrine and wonderful food. We did not get the omurice this time as we were not that hungry but we got the picked radish, fried/sautéed chicken and the cheese wontons (made with mozzarella) and it was delicious. Lovely place to rest and relax without a lot of people. We will come back and try the omurice which is supposed to be excellent.

Amazing one cook show. Great food. Make sure to have your phone ready to translate as the owner doesn't speak English 🙂

A friend was here in 2018 and recommended me this place. When I finally traveled to Japan and visited Nikko, decided to follow his advice and I have no regrets. The food is amazing, the staff is very kind and, as my friend told me, they have one of the best Umeshu I've had the chance to drink. Definetely will repeat if I ever travel to Japan again.
