Nikko, Tochigi, Japan｜日光好吃法歺

Cozy little restaurant serving French cuisine. Located close to Shimo-imaichi station on the Toby-Nikko line. Great food, friendly staff. Would visit again the next time I am on a trip to Nikko. A hidden gem.

A family-style restaurant where you can enjoy delicious French cuisine, located near Shimoimaichi Station. The train whistle of SL Taiju was also an accent, making it a fun lunch. Amuse (deep flavored mousse), appetizer (fresh vegetables, amberjack and octopus are delicious), mini gratin (shrimp and taro are delicious), soft roe and scallop soup (deep-fried soft roe is perfectly cooked and the inside is thick and delicious) , red sea bream poele, Tochigi beef fillet steak (very soft and goes great with the sauce), mini curry rice (impressed by the springiness of ancient rice), dessert black cherry tart (not too sweet and easy to eat) and vanilla The ice cream and all the dishes were very delicious dishes that made use of the ingredients. Next time, I would like to visit you by train and enjoy it with wine.
