May 2023 - A wonderful and very well rounded three star dinner. Top quality ingredients, in a beautiful setting executed perfectly. Wine pairing was good, but not particularly memorable for me. Would return.

Not only the best French restaurant in Japan but one of the best in the whole world. Chef Daniel Calvert explodes from talent and creativity using a Japanese top ingredients to create dishes that you can’t find even in Paris. I’d give it 3 Michelin stars tomorrow!

Highlights: - sleek beige decor - excellent service - the chef came to chat with us after the meal - the menu changes as per the season/ingredients available. there is no menu until the very end when you are given a print out - besides a couple more adventurous dishes (jellyfish and venison) the dishes were delicious and filling - the desserts (three courses) were fantastic Lunch cost approximately 550 USD for two without any alcohol pairing.
