I went to "Gyokusentei". “Gyokusentei” is a long-established Chinese restaurant in Yokohama and is said to be the origin of “Sanmamen”. Today is Saturday, so there were about 6 people in line. As expected, there was only Chinese food, and the rotation was fast and I was able to sit down in less than 10 minutes. Looking at the menu, I ordered "Sunmar One Tanmen" and "Half fried rice", and my son ordered "Banmen" and "Pork and green onion bowl (small)". Sanmamen was very delicious with a gentle seasoning that was less salty, and the fried rice had a very ordinary taste. Banmen felt like Gomoku Seafood Ankake Soba was bound with eggs, and it was still delicious with a gentle seasoning. The pork and green onion rice bowl was very easy to eat and had a good taste, with the scent of green onions and mixed with chashu. The restaurant looks like an old Chinese restaurant and is comfortable. ️ Basically, I would like to repeat "Gyokusentei" with my favorite seasoning.
It was a shop that I happened to enter while passing by, but it was a big hit. Even though the store had just opened, when we entered, we were asked to share a seat, and soon after that, the seats were full and there were people waiting outside. I wanted to drink beer, so I ordered fried wontons. It came with a small bowl that looked like a thick soup, and I didn't know what to do with it, so I decided to ask the busy-looking waitress, and she said with a smile, "Wonton can be eaten as is, or you can eat it with it." And you can add salt and pepper on the table! ” I was relieved. First of all, when I dipped the fried wonton in the bean paste and ate it, it was delicious. Wontons, dips, and beers are no longer looping. My family ordered the ¥1000 lunch from Monday to Saturday. There were 2 pieces of stir-fried gomoku, tamagoyaki, and char siu, and rice was on one plate with soup. I was allowed to taste it, but the five-course stir-fry was light, but it had a strong umami, and it was delicious. I enjoyed the change in taste even with one plate. The tamagoyaki was a little hard-boiled. When I left the store and took a picture, a regular customer who was lined up said, ``This is the birthplace of Yokohama's specialty Sanma noodles. The selling point of this restaurant is the wonton on Sanma noodles.” It's a good shop that is loved by locals. If I have a chance to visit next time, I would definitely like to eat sanma noodles.
