A place you can go to have some really good chicken served in a uniquely Japanese way. The owner is friendly and the staff includes a fairly capable English speaker too, so it's not intimidating to venture alone. The regulars are friendly too.

Cost performance is high👍 Both sashimi and fried food were delicious. I would like to use it again when I stop by Maizuru (*^^*)

It was really delicious. Seasonal seafood is also a must, as are wild vegetables in the spring and sweetfish and rock oysters in the summer. I can't help but look forward to the upcoming season. There are some chewy parts of local chicken that you can't find anywhere else, so it's definitely worth a visit. If you're going to a local izakaya that claims to have local fish, it's definitely better to go here.
