Kameoka, Kyoto, Japan｜Yōidon (Rice Bowl Restaurant)

This is the shop I end up stopping at whenever I pass by during lunch. There are 3 parking spaces next to the store and a portion of the adjacent drug store parking lot as a private parking lot. The seats are small with 3 seats at the table and 4 seats at the counter. The main dishes are katsudon and tonkatsu set meals. I will exclusively go for the katsudon mini udon set. You can choose rice bowls and set meals from large, medium and small sizes. If you ask for the inside of the bowl, you will receive a fairly large bowl, and the sweet and spicy sauce is exquisite and the best. I always think about whether to eat the pork cutlet set meal, but in the end I end up ordering the katsudon. It is run by two elderly couples, so it gets quite crowded during lunch hours. I think I'll order the tonkatsu set meal next time.

It was lunchtime, but the store was empty (*^^*) I had a sweet and spicy katsudon. It was very delicious! There were oyakodon, curry, and set meals. I want to go again!

I've been there several times and it's delicious. For me, it's sweet and spicy oyakodon, The most popular seems to be the sweet and spicy pork cutlet bowl. It feels quite voluminous...the parking lot may be a little difficult to park...
