The owner of this Japanese style restaurant is very friendly and warm talk with him makes me so happy, prices of dishes are reasonably adequate. Try “Toge-Jaya” and you will never be disappointed with warm-heart place!

I had the tonkatsu set meal twice. Small bowls are especially delicious, and the types seem to change. The oden ingredients were also different. You can also get a second helping of delicious rice grown by the owner. You can also drink plenty of delicious tea from the teapot. Recommended!

This may sound rude, but it was a nice, homey restaurant, more like going to eat at an uncle's place than going to a restaurant. This was my first time eating mochimugi noodles, but I can't go back to regular somen. The texture and flavor were great. I had the seasonal tempura under the big snow. It had a refreshing flavor and texture without being bitter or green. I've become a fan now, so I'm looking forward to the winter shishinabe.
