Seasonal Cuisine Takeyoshi 季節料理たけよし Just across the street from Flatto Miyama near the intersection is a nice Japanese cuisine restaurant called Takeyoshi. They serve seasonal food mainly sushi and other kind of noodle dishes such as soba ( buckwheat noodle ), udon etc. Inside the restaurant is nicely arranged in retro style and very comfortable. Their great highlight dish is Saba Zushi ( Mackerel sushi ) nicely seasoned with sweet vinegar. ( Trans-word+ : TGM Kyoto Guide )

I came to try this restaurant after it was recommended to me by an old man from Miyama I met at Yamagoya Sakebo Miyama. It was 4 or 5 years ago that I was told that it would be coming around now💦 I don't usually go there during noon, so the timing wasn't right😭 As recommended, the soba and tempura are quite delicious🍤 The Tekkamaki that I included in the set because I thought it wasn't enough was also delicious ❤️

This is a soba restaurant run by a good-natured owner. From the outside, it looked a little intimidating, but when I entered, I was greeted warmly. The essential soba is delicious, and the tempura is crispy and good. However, the amount of soba was not enough, so if you eat a lot, you may want to order a larger size. I would like to stop by when I come to Miyama again.
