Kyotango, Kyoto, Japan｜Shunsai Musashi Yakiniku and Hamburgers

The location is just off the main street, but if you head towards Kyotango City Hall, you won't get lost. The first thing I noticed when I entered the store was, is this really a Yakiniku restaurant? The interior is so good. There are also counter seats, so even if you are alone, you can enjoy it. The staff's explanations were thorough, from the sauce to the way the meat was grilled. As advertised as Awaji beef, the taste is very satisfying. The appetizer salad is hearty, and the kimchi is just the right amount of spiciness, making it easy to eat with chopsticks 😋 When you quickly sear the meat and mix it with white rice, it's bliss. The hand-kneaded hamburger steak that I had for lunch before was also on the menu, and I had it freshly grilled (ﾟдﾟ) Yummy! I also ordered ramen for dinner. My heart and stomach were full. This is a yakiniku restaurant that was reopened last year and specializes in yakiniku. The seating consists of a counter and a tatami room in one large space, so it doesn't feel closed-in. Yakiniku is on the pricey side, but lunch is especially recommended. The daily lunch special is 1,200 yen (limited quantity), and the beef tongue set is 1,300 yen.Although each meal is hearty, they also come with a drink and a small dessert after the meal, so I think the cost performance is very good. Of course, the taste is also very delicious. Located in front of City Hall, it has good access in the Tango area, and the store has a parking lot, making it easy to come by car. I've been there before the renovation, but the quality of the restaurant after the renovation has improved so much that it's hard to believe it's the same store. I would like to go again.
