This restaurant definitely serves yakiniku, not teppanyaki. We ordered a set meal from the menu - no picture or English menu was available as not many foreigners are seen this side of Kyoto - but the staff were extremely helpful in directing us. The beef was delicious and tender, arriving in four different cuts with a dipping sauce. The salad was plentiful and the atmosphere relaxing. Being in control of your own barbeque means you can cook the food however you fancy it. You can also order more plates as you go along until satisfied. A tasty and filling meal, with not too hefty a price.

Excellent yakiniku and service

This is the shop that I always take you to. Thank you very much. It's a famous store around here. It is a waste to describe it in one word as a "Yakiniku restaurant" that really sticks to the ingredients, not only the meat that is purchased by the whole cow, but also the organic vegetables that are ordered from all over the country, and the wine that is made in-house. It's a shop. The dimly lit interior is also very stylish, and there are a variety of customers, from families to couples. I made a reservation for this day as well, but before I knew it, both the 1st and 2nd floors were full in no time. When it comes to food, you can't go wrong with anything you ask. Not only the meat, but also the rice dishes, soups, snacks, etc. are of a quality that you wouldn't expect from a yakiniku restaurant. I received both red and white homemade wine, but is it really Japanese wine? It was so delicious. However, what I was disappointed about this time was that I couldn't order the "Kami Harami", which I always look forward to, because it was out of stock. Actually, it was out of stock when I visited last time, so I would like to have it next time. Most of the staff are young, but they serve customers in a pleasant manner.
